What is inside a restroom trailer?
Layouts vary by model, but most trailers have separate rooms or stalls, flushing toilets, sinks with running water, mirrors, interior lighting, and heating or air conditioning. Larger models split into men's and women's sides with their own entrances.
What does a restroom trailer need on site?
- Level ground and room to tow the trailer in and set it up
- Power for lights, pumps and climate control, from an outlet or a generator
- For some models, a fresh-water connection
- A path guests can walk safely, lit after dark
Trailer, deluxe unit or standard porta potty?
Trailers suit weddings, galas, VIP areas and long projects where comfort matters. Deluxe units add a flush and often a sink without needing power. Standard units are the most practical for large crowds and job sites. Compare them on our unit types page.
Are restroom trailers ADA-accessible?
Only some are. Trailers with steps are not accessible; ask for a model with a lift or ramp, or add an ADA portable unit beside the trailer.
